Medicare – Figuring out what’s covered:

If you or someone you love has diabetes, there is something you ought to know. Medicare Part B now covers your glucose monitor, test strips, lancets, lancing device, control solution and batteries for people with Type I and Type II diabetes. Medicare Part B covers the same supplies for people with diabetes whether or not you use insulin. If you have Medicare and a secondary insurance plan, you may qualify to receive your supplies at no cost to you! Medicare pays 80% of the cost and many secondary insurance plans pay the remaining 20%. With this type of coverage, you pay only the insurance deductible, or co-insurance, if any.

 

Who is eligible?

If you are diabetic and have Medicare Part B as your primary insurance plan, you may be eligible for this program, regardless if you use insulin or not.

 

Do I pay shipping charges?

No, when you order from Wellness Life Systems, there is no charge for delivery. Your supplies will be mailed to your home, free of shipping charges, anywhere in the United States.

 

What are my out-of-pocket expenses?

You pay no money up-front. If you qualify, Medicare may cover 80% of your diabetic supply costs (after your annual $135 Medicare deductible has been paid), and many secondary insurance plans pay the remaining 20%. You are only responsible for your co-payments and deductibles, if any.

 

Who will fill out my insurance claim forms?

When serving you, a Wellness Life Systems representative will assist you to complete and file the Medicare and insurance claims on your behalf. No more complicated forms to fill out, no more waiting for reimbursement!

We will verify your Medicare and/or insurance coverage and seek the appropriate prescription from your doctor to ensure the sign up process goes smoothly. We will contact you to explain your benefits prior to shipping your first order.
  3. Once your order is shipped, we will keep in touch. We will contact you when is time to reorder to be sure you need more supplies. We will deliver your supplies, right to your doorstep, free of shipping charges.
  4. No more complicated forms to fill out. Our associates will assist with all the necessary insurance paperwork on your behalf.
  5. We will work with your doctor when it’s time for a new prescription.
